YES!! We use breathing exercises, movement, meditation and yoga philosophy to guide us to a more self-accepting, self-loving, relaxed and easy place so that we can handle the challenges of our lives with more ease. That doesn't need to happen by twisting yourself into a pretzel or standing on your head. We do enough of that in our daily lives as it is! All are welcome and all postures and activities are modified to meet you and your body right where you are! You do ONLY what you feel comfortable doing!
It's hard for me to find time! How will I be able to participate?
It IShard to make time for yourself. I get it. Sessions are scheduled in advance so you can plan ahead, block the time in your calendar, and get the help you need to make it happen! This is your first exercise in asking for that help. Reach out to friends, neighbors, and other parents to see if they can give you a few hours so that you can recharge. Once you experience the relaxation, the calm, the inner quiet, and the relief that I know you will feel, it will be that much easier to make the time to attend so that you can benefit fully from our time together. I understand. Dip your toe in first...you'll want to dive in right away!
